For cooks in Islamabad or Rawalpindi, contact Domestic Staff Provider on 0334 1041114. Starting salary is PKR 35,000 per month.
Starting salaryPKR 35,000 per month
Male home cooks for everyday family meals and a well-organised kitchen.
These starting salaries are for customers hiring staff. They are not fixed quotes or advertised vacancies. The agreed salary depends on duties, experience, hours and living arrangements. Confirm the current amount, applicable employment requirements, candidate availability and written terms before hiring. Part-time hours and specialist care need an individual quote. Repairs, skilled trades and event assignments are priced separately by scope; confirm charges, materials and applicable service terms before booking.
One-time placement fee
For monthly staff placements: equal to one agreed monthly salary, payable once you hire. Separate from the staff member’s salary.
Monthly salary
Paid directly to the staff member. No recurring agency commission.
Replacement support
Monthly staff placements include six months of replacement support under the written conditions. Confirm the procedure and eligibility before hiring.
Arrangements
Monthly placements with agreed full-time, live-in, live-out or part-time hours, subject to the role and availability.
Service area
Islamabad and Rawalpindi only. Share your sector, neighbourhood or society phase when enquiring.
Budget example: if the agreed monthly salary is PKR 35,000, one full month’s salary plus the one-time placement fee totals PKR 70,000. This example excludes any separately agreed expenses and is not a payment schedule.
To request staff, share the role, area, main responsibilities, working hours and preferred start date. Enquiring is free; a placement and start date are confirmed after discussion. This contact is for customers hiring staff, not employment applications.
For a male home cook in Askari 14, call 0334 1041114. Share your block, duties and hours so we can discuss current candidates. The one-time placement fee equals one month’s agreed salary; six-month replacement support follows the written conditions.
Distinguish one kitchen from a shared household
When hiring a cook for Askari 14, tell us whether meals are prepared for a single family or multiple portions. Separate cooking preferences and different serving times can materially change the workload even when the overall number of diners is small. Include this information before comparing candidate experience or salaries.
List breakfast and lunch deadlines as well as dinner time. If a family member works shifts, explain whether meals need preparing ahead or cooking at a later hour. Agree the end of the working day clearly and discuss how occasional changes will be handled.
Set the boundary between cooking and other work
A cook’s role can include kitchen cleanup, but full-house cleaning, laundry and personal errands are separate responsibilities. If you want a cook-cum-helper, identify the extra tasks and ask whether they fit the available hours. Avoid a job description that grows whenever the cooking is finished.
Show the candidate the kitchen layout and explain where groceries, cleaning products and utensils belong. Discuss food storage and waste handling as part of the interview. For households with another worker, assign serving and washing up explicitly so that the cook knows which tasks remain theirs after a meal.
Make the trial useful for both sides
Choose a small set of meals that reflects your ordinary week. Agree trial duration, payment and the ingredients available beforehand. Judge the preparation process and cleanup as well as the final taste; a polished dish alone does not show whether the daily routine will be sustainable.
Give feedback through one household member and note agreed preferences for the next meal. Confirm how the cook will enter the community and reach the home at the required time, checking current procedures with management. Once you agree a placement, keep the salary, hours and agency conditions together in a written brief.
